Dale Howard Hustles To USCS Sprint Car Victory At Rome

Dale Howard wire-to-wire to win the 15th Annual USCS Randy Helton Memorial and Dixie Sprint Car Nationals for the USCS Sprint Car Series on Saturday night at Georgia’s Rome Speedway.

It marked the second series win of the season for the Byhalia, Mississippi driver.

Eric Riggins, Jr. finished in second, with Lance Moss in third, Chase Howard in fourth, and Pendergrass, Georgia’s Jeff Oliver in fifth.

Jeff Willingham, Danny Burke, Brandon Grubaugh, Wade Buttrey, and Jake Brashier rounded out the top 10.

In preliminary action, Riggins and Terry Gray won their respective heat races, with Howard winning the speed dash.

Other winners on the night included Oliver Gentry in Limited Late Models, T.J. Brittain in 604 Crate Late Models, Zach Pilcher in Open Wheel Modifieds, Tim Clark in 602 Sportsman, Blake Broome in Economy Bombers, and Jason Young in Street Stingers.

The USCS Sprint Car Series return to racing on Friday and Saturday, October 13-14, at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas. For more information, visit USCSRacing.com.
