Gavin Boschele broke out the broom in USCS Sprint Car Series competition over the holiday weekend, as he swept all three series events.
The 15-year-old from Mooresville, North Carolina opened the weekend with a victory on Friday night at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tennessee, and followed that with an additional win at I-75 on Saturday night. On Sunday night, he capped the Labor Day weekend by going to victory lane at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama.
On Friday, Boschele took the lead on lap 11 of the 25-lap feature, and never looked back en route to the win at I-75 Raceway.
Jared Hostman finished in second, with Hayden Martin in third, Chase Dunham in fourth, and Devon Dobie in fifth.
In preliminary action, Dobie, Eric Riggins, Jr., and Horstman won their respective heat races, with Riggins winning the speed dash.
On Saturday night, Boschele worked past early race leader Terry Gray to take the lead, and went on to score his second straight victory of the weekend at I-75 Raceway.
Gray finished in second, with Dale Howard in third, Jared Horstman in fourth, and Devon Dobie in fifth.
In preliminary action, Boschele, Eric Riggins, Jr., and Howard won their respective heats, with Gray winning the speed dash.
On Sunday, Boschele swept the night, winning his heat race and earning the pole in the speed dash before driving to the victory at Talladega Short Track, leading all 25 laps in the process.
It marked the seventh win of the season for Boschele.
Dale Howard, Hayden Martin, Terry Gray, and Tucker Boulton rounded out the top five.
In preliminary action, Boschele, Martin, and Howard won their respective heat races, with Boschele winning the speed dash.
The next events for the USCS Sprint Car Series will be on Friday, September 8 at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, North Carolina, followed by a trip to Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina on Saturday, September 9. Check USCSRacing.com for more details.
