Porter, Ward Honored Saturday In Anderson Shrine Race

From the biggest race of the years at some short tracks to the NASCAR Cup Series Playoff cutoff at Daytona, there is racing action of all sorts on the docket for this weekend for motorsports fans.

Here’s a look at some of the racing scheduled over the next few days for race fans:

Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, South Carolina will hold its biggest race of the season, the Rupert Porter Memorial Shrine Race, on Saturday night. The event will be headlined by a 97-lap Limited Late Model feature in honor of short track veteran Marty Ward, who passed away earlier this month. NASCAR does battle in both Florida and Wisconsin this weekend.
