Brooks Bags Tri-State Modified Victory At Senoia Raceway

Booger Brooks took home the winner’s trophy from Georgia’s Senoia Raceway on Saturday night, as the speedway hosted the Tri-State Open Wheel Modified Series.

Brooks, from Chickamauga, Georgia, started the 40-lap feature from the pole, and went on to hold off Logan Hickerson to score the win at the 3/8-mile clay track.

Eric Hickerson followed in third, with Shannon Davis in fourth, and Kyle Clifton in fifth.

Dewayne Aldridge, Keith Coan, Gary Tucker, John Holcomb, and Aaron Miller rounded out the top 10.

In other action, Blant Duke topped the Limited Late Model field to score the victory over Glenn Morris. Cody Haskins finished third, with Chad Duncan fourth, and Thomas Mewborn fifth.

Lucas Ruark was first under the checkered flag to win the Crate Late Model feature. Zach Leonhardi finished in second, followed by Carson Ruark in third, Colby Darda in fourth, and Ty Ellis in fifth.

Zach Shelton was the winner in the Hobby feature, with T.J. Joiner in second, Landon DeGraff in third, John Landrum in fourth, and Dustin Kendall in fifth.

Taylor Cole topped the 602 Sportsman field for the feature win. Cody Newton, Daniel Brewer, Jonathan Martin, and Jay Coen rounded out the top five.

Trenton Mathis crossed the finish line ahead of Nickelos Stiles to win the 602 Charger feature, with Wesley Marchman third, Richard Scott fourth, and Dean Delamar fifth.

Mark Newton scored the victory in the Mini-Stock feature, followed by James Padgett in second, Cody Smith in third, Steve Clinton in fourth, and Stephen Chunn in fifth.

Crag Boozer recorded the Bomber feature win, with Chris Steele in second, Justin Bonnett in third, Shannon Stephens in fourth, and Wilson Boozer in fifth.

David Pope outdistanced Mike Webb for the victory in the Hot Shot feature. Kevin Scott finished third, followed by Eli Levine fourth, and Mike Levine fifth.
