Boschele, DeVault Top USCS Sprints For Weekend Wins

Gavan Boschele and Zane DeVault both scored victories in USCS Sprint Car Series competition over the weekend.

Boschele was the winner on Thursday night at South Carolina’s Travelers Rest Speedway, with DeVault topped the field on Friday night at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, North Carolina.

On Thursday night, Boschele led all 25 laps en route to his fourth series victory of the season at Travelers Rest Speedway.

Boschele took the checkered flag with a 5.602 second advantage of second place finisher Eric Riggins, Jr. with Terry Gray in third, Johnny Bridges in fourth, and Lance Moss in fifth.

Riggins and Terry Witherspoon won their respective heat races, with Boschele winning the speed dash.

On Saturday night, Zane DeVault waited out a four hour rain delay to take the win in the 25 lap feature at Carolina Speedway.

DeVault took the lead on lap seven, and led the rest of the way en route to the victory. Johnny Bridges finished in second, with Terry Gray in third, Terry Witherspoon in fourth, and Lance Moss in fifth.

Lance Moss and Eric Riggins, Jr. won their respective heat races, with C.J. Miller winning the speed dash.

The USCS Sprint Car Series was next slated to compete on Saturday night at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina. But wet weather in the area led officials to postpone the event to a later date.
