Rome Speedway Races Back To Action On Saturday

With the Father’s Day holiday in the rear-view mirror, the racing world charges into the heart of the summer schedule this weekend, with racing on tap from the local dirt tracks to the big superspeedways.

Here’s a look at some of the motorsports action scheduled over the next few days:

Rome Speedway in Rome, Georgia, returns to action on Saturday night by hosting the Red Clay Series. For more information, visit RaceRomeSpeedway.com.

-The USCS Sprint Car Series is slated for a weekend trip to the Volunteer State. On Friday night, the series stops at Lexington 104 Speedway in Lexington, Tennessee before moving on Saturday to Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, Tennessee. Check USCSRacing.com for details.

-After taking Father’s Day weekend off, all three NASCAR national series travels to Nashville Superspeedway this weekend. The NASCAR Craftsman Series opens the weekend on Friday night, with the NASCAR Xfinity Series in action on Saturday. The weekend wraps up with the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday.
