Gavan Boschele crossed under the checkered flag first in Friday night’s Pro Late Model feature at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida.

But the win ended up going to his teammate, Dawson Sutton, after Boschele was disqualified in post race tech for the left side of his No. 25 being over the weight limit.

That give Sutton his second PLM victory of the year at Pensacola’s high banks.

“We had a fast racecar tonight,” he said. “Overall, this was a good night. We’re going for points (in Pensacola), so this helps with that, as well.”

Hunter Robbins finished in second, with John Bolen in third, Dylan Fetcho in fourth, and Jim Wall in fifth.

Dacula Georgia’s Christopher Tullis, Dustin Smith, Colin Allman, Bryson Shaffer, and Pendergrass, Georgia’s Seth Christensen rounded out the top 10.

In other action, Steven Davis scored his second straight Pro Trucks feature.

“Believe it or not, I don’t work much on this truck,” Davis said. “It’s hard with the wife, the kids and buying houses.”

Treyce Capers finished second, with Grant Thompson third, Okie Mason fourth, and Brandon Burks fifth.

Maddox Langham set the fast time in qualifying (19.634 seconds) and backed it up with his second The Dock on Pensacola Beach Sportsmen feature win of the year.

“I knew I had to have a good run tonight,” Langham said. “Hopefully, we can fight back and gets us a championship by the end of the year. Right now, we’re just racing for wins.”

James Patrick, Chad Robinson, B.J. Leytham, and Jonathan Langham rounded out the top five.

Adam Salter drove to the lead of the Story & Bleich Roofing Crown Stocks feature from the sixth starting spot. Once out front, he held off Ryan Bleich, Sr. for the win.

“The last race, we had a little issue in practice,” Salter said. “We messed the front-end up and couldn’t run it. I’ve never had good luck here until tonight.”

Tyler Young finished in third, with Dave Nolen in fourth, and Blaise Boykin in fifth.
