Frankie Beard Nets Stephen Wragg Memorial At Toccoa

Frankie Beard took home top honors from Saturday night’s Limited Late Model Stephen Wragg Memorial at Georgia’s Toccoa Raceway.

The Hartwell, Georgia native powered to the lead in the 58 lap feature, and held off Matt Long to score the win the $5,800 feature at the historic 3/8-mile clay speedway.

Fast qualifier Kenny Collins had to settle for a third place finish at the end of the night, with Cody Overton in fourth, and Denny Ledford in fifth.

Daniel Wilson, Will Harris, David McCoy, David Conley, and Mark Wilbanks rounded out the top 10.

In other action, David McCoy beat out Dale Timms to take the win in the 602 Sportsman feature. John Howard followed in third, with Ricky Smith in fourth, and Cody Overton in fifth.

Rex Hambrick scored the victory in the Modified Street feature, with Chad Puckett in second, Chris Thomas in third, Curtis Green in fourth, and Billy Buffington in fifth.

Terry Calhoun added to his impressive 2022 Pro Trucks win total with another victory on Saturday night. Bill Pullum, Michael Barbare, Ryan Ken, and Benji Stewart rounded out the top five.

Chris Nickerson also added to his season victory list with a win in the Open Wheel Modified feature, with Jimmy Motes second, Brian Nickerson third, Joseph Galloway fourth, and Cy Strickland fifth.

Hunter Atkinson was the first across the finish line to take the 602 Charters victory. Frankie Barrett followed in second, with Kyle McAlister in third, Dylan Bartlett in fourth, and Justin Smith in fifth.

Brady Hunt was flagged the winner in the Stock 8 feature, but was disqualified post-race. That gave the win to Cameron Collett, with Matt Ferguson in second, Hayden Collett in third, Ricky Jones in fourth, and Terry Calhoun in fifth.

Zach Cox was the winner in the Stock 4 feature. Randy Boshears came home in second, with William McConnell in third, Bobby Boshears in fourth, and Phil Wood in fifth.

Eddie Segars scored the victory in the Front Wheel Drive feature, followed by Austin Kinsey in second, Cameron Booth in third, and Jonathan Montgomery in fourth.
