Jonathan Davenport became a millionaire on Thursday night at Eldora Speedway.
The Blairsville, Georgia racer pocketed a $1,002,022 payday by winning the Eldora Million Super Late Model event at the famed half-mile dirt track in Rossburg, Ohio.
After losing the lead twice in the late stages of the race – once to Tim McCreadie and once to Chris Madden – Davenport fought back to grab the lead for good on lap 87.
From there, Davenport went on to hold off Madden for the win and the winner’s paycheck.
Devin Moran followed in third, with McCreadie in fourth, and Chris Ferguson in fifth.
Chickamauga, Georgia’s Dale McDowell, Mike Marlar, Kyle Bronson, Brandon Sheppard, and Hudson O’Neal rounded out the top 10.
