Russell Parks It Again In Hartwell Limited Late Model Win

Bubba Russell topped the Limited Late Model field at Georgia’s Hartwell Speedway on Saturday night to add to his already crowded trophy shelf.

Russell, who hails from Comer, Georgia, edged out North Carolina short track ace David McCoy to score the win at the 3/8-mile clay speedway.

Michael Akison followed in third, with Danny Sanders in fourth and Brad Basey in fifth.

In other action, Royce Bray scored the victory in the Hobby feature, with Brandon Stroud in second, Dustin Mincey in third, Tye Lowe in fourth and David McCoy in fifth.

Michael Segars held off Smokey Roberts to take home the Modified Street feature win. Tye Nalley followed in third, with Jennifer Everett in fourth and Chad Puckett in fifth.

Dustin Evans was the winner in the Stock V8 feature, with Mason Johnson following in second. Ricky Chamberlain finished in third, followed by Haden Collett in fourth and Cameron Collett in fifth.

Caylen Kettle scored the victory in the Stock 4 feature. Dustin Bales finished second, with Jeffery Lord third, Pete Whitley fourth and Victor McIintyre in fifth.

Josh Thurmond was the winner in the Open Wheel Modified feature. Chris Nickerson, David Dove, Stanley Hill and Ricky Bryant rounded out the top five.

Aiden Forton edged out Jonathan Cronic for the win in the Young Guns feature. Thomas Shaw followed in third, with Noah Anglin in fourth and Cohen Fortson in fifth.

Alex Powell took the victory in the Front Wheel Drive feature, with Randy Shaw in second, Brent Wilson in third, Andrew Smith in fourth and Michael Davis in fifth.
