Scott Reynolds made his first appearance of the season at his hometown race track pay off in a big way.
Reynolds scored his first Summit ET Drag Racing Series win of the season in the Sportsman division finals at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.
Reynolds, a native of Commerce, Georgia, bested Doug Frazier in the final. Reynolds dialed in on a 13.40 (1/2 Mile racing) and ran a 13.530 ET at 92.21 MPH and a 0.033 reaction. Frazier dialed in on a 12.61 and ran a 12.939 ET at 110.25 MPH. and a 0.053 reaction.
Other winners on the day included Thomas Bell in Super Pro, Steve Wagner in Pro, Jayton Duggar in Jr. Street, Stanley Russell in Motorcycle, Corey Reed in 5-9 Jr. Dragster, Ava Ward in 10-12 Jr. Dragster and Ryan Bruce in 13-17 Jr. Dragster.
