Hudspeth Scores First FASTRAK Victory At Friendship

Justin Hudspeth scored his first FASTRAK Racing Series victory on Saturday night in front of a hometown crowd at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, North Carolina.

Hudspeth, from Ronda, North Carolina, picked up a cool $2,000 pay day for his efforts around the 4/10-mile dirt raceway.

Hudspeth started the night by turning the quickest time in qualifying with a 16.109 second lap. He would follow that up with a win in his heat race.

On the drop of the green flag, Hudspeth took command as the field raced into turn one. From there, he never looked back en route to the victory.

Layton Sullivan finished in second, with Dillon Brown in third, Carson Ferguson in fourth and Corey Almond in fifth.

Dan Breuer, Matt Long, Travis Steele, Nick Schlager and Justin Wofford rounded out the top 10.
