Zack Mitchell swept the ULTIMATE Super Late Model race weekend over the Labor Day Holiday.
The Enoree, South Carolina racer scored the victory in Friday night’s Buck Simmons Memorial at Georgia’s Lavonia Speedway.
He backed that up on Saturday night with a win at South Carolina’s Lancaster Speedway.
On Friday night, Mitchell led all 41 laps en route to the win in the Buck Simmons Memorial at Lavonia Speedway, winning $4,141 in honor of the late Georgia Racing Hall of Fame inductee.
Mitchell crossed the finish line 2.411 seconds ahead of Ross Bailes. Trent Ivey followed in third, with Kenny Collins in fourth and John Henderson in fifth.
David Smith, Anthony Sanders, Jeff Smith, Cla Knight and Austin Holcombe rounded out the top ten.
On Saturday night, Mitchell padded his series points lead by again leading flag-to-flag to score the win at Lancaster Speedway.
The win is Mitchell’s fifth for the series, and was worth a $4,000 payday.
Michael Brown finished in second, with Kyle Hardy in third, Bailes in fourth and Ben Watkins in fifth.
Dennis Franklin, Chris Blackwell, Daulton Wilson, Adam Yarbrough and Jeff Smith rounded out the top ten.
