Austin Somero held off all comers to record the Late Model Stock feature victory on Saturday night at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Easley, South Carolina.
It marks the third win of the season for Somero, who hails from Greer, South Carolina. His previous two wins at the historic half-mile asphalt raceway came on May 25 and March 23.
Somero held off Nicholson, Georgia’s Taylor Satterfield for the win. Zach Bruenger finished in third, followed by Riley Gentry in fourth and Carson Ware in fifth.
In other action, Travis Cox took the victory in the Super Stocks feature, with John Guker in second, David Rader in third, Stanley Pressley in fourth and T.J. Johnson in fifth.
Tyler Woodring swept both Renegades features on the night. In the first feature, David Rocklein finished second, with Alex Guthrie third, Chuckie Greer fourth and Drew Porter fifth.
Rocklein also finished in second in the second feature, with Alex Guthrie, Steve Guthrie and Wes Cain rounding out the top five
Allen Cantrell topped the Pure Stocks feature. Jeb Kelley came home in second, with Zach Blanton in third, Alex Guthrie in fourth and Chad Atkins in fifth.
Scott Parker was the winner in the 4 Cylinder/Front Wheel Drive feature. Josh Thomason finished second, with Randy Hupp third and Dannon Esco fourth.
