Frank Taylor is back.

After several years of being unable to race, the Gray, Georgia driver returned to competition in O’Reilly Auto Parts Friday Night Drags last week on Atlanta Motor Speedway’s pit road drag strip.

The multi-time Super Pro champion picked up where he left off, piloting his 1993 Chevrolet Lumina to victory in the division’s final round.

In other action, Dale Rodgers earned back-to-back final round QuikTrip Pro Division wins by rocketing his 1981 Firebird to the end of the dragstrip ahead of division points leader Kevin Mayo.

This all came on a night when the “Homewrecker” jet powered semi-truck put on a pair of demonstrations runs down the dragstrip.

Atlanta Motor Speedway’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Friday Night Drags is back in action on Friday, August 2. For more info, visit AtlantaMotorSpeedway.com.
