Susan Spikes built on her points lead by scoring her third Super Pro victory of the season in Saturday’s Summit ET Drag Racing Series action at the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.
Spikes, the 2017 track division champion, scored the win over Don Brown, Jr. in the final. The Commerce, Georgia driver dialed in a 5.09 and ran a 5.087 ET at 134.86 MPH and a 0.001 reaction time.
Brown, Jr. dialed in 4.56 and ran a 4.546 ET at 147.55 MPH and a 0.032 reaction.
Other winners on the day included Jody Blalock, Sr. in Pro, James Noel in Sportsman, Jayton Duggar in Jr. Street, Tim Sutton in Super Pro Bike, Cooper Hancock in 5-9 Jr. Dragster, Shannon Blanton in 10-12 Jr. Dragster and Jacob Wilson in 13-17 Jr. Dragster.
