Trey Gibson Goes Back-To-Back With LMSC Win At GPS

Trey Gibson made his second trip in as many weeks to victory lane at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Easley, South Carolina on Saturday.

Gibson, from Easley, South Carolina, beat out Austin Somero and Georgia’s Taylor Satterfield to record his third Late Model Stock Car feature of the season at this historic half-mile asphalt raceway.

Ryan Walker finished in fourth, with Riley Gentry in fifth.

In other action, Allen Cantrell scored the victory in the Pure Stocks feature. Jeb Kelley finished in second, followed by Zach Blanton in third and Jack Hooper in fourth.

Ricky Burnett and Alex Guthrie split a pair of Renegades feature. In the first feature, Steve Guthrie finished in second, with James Johnson in third, Drew Porter in fourth and Dylan Key in fifth. In the second feature, Tyler Woodring, Burnett, Chuckie Greer and Johnson rounded out the top five.

Jason McDowell took home the victory in the Super Stock feature. Travis Cox finished second, with David Rader third, T.J. Johnson fourth and Ricky Burnett fifth.

Scott Parker was flagged the winner of the 4 Cylinder – Front Wheel Drive feature, but saw that win taken away when his car failed in post-race tech inspection. That moved Josh Thomason to victory lane, with Dannon Esco in second, Travis Shelton in third, Randy Hupp in fourth and Richard Hollenbeck in fifth.
