Gerry Tops PASS North Field At Oxford Plains Speedway

Curtis Gerry outran Cassius Clark and the rest of a 35-car starting field to claim victory in Sunday’s 150-lap PASS North Super Late Model Series feature race at Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway.

It marked Gerry’s fourth consecutive series victory at the Oxford, Maine raceway, a streak that began with last year’s Oxford 250.

Gerry started the race from 11th position and methodically raced his way into contention while Clark set a blistering early pace. Gerry made the most of a couple of late-race restarts to outgun Clark in the late going. Clark crossed the finish line in second position, about a second-and-a-half in front of Reid Lanpher.

Current series points leader D.J. Shaw finished in fourth, followed by Travis Benjamin in fifth.

Brandon Barker, Kelly Moore, Wyatt Alexander, John Peters and Ryan Robbins rounded out the top ten.
