Roberts Takes Third Anderson Late Model Win Of 2017

So far this season, there’s no beating David Roberts at Anderson Motor Speedway.

The Simpsonville, South Carolina speedster is three-for-three in the Late Model Stock division at the Williamston, South Carolina raceway, as he scored his third straight victory in Friday night’s Easter Extravaganza.

Roberts held off Nicholson, Georgia’s Taylor Satterfield, who turned in the fastest time in qualifying earlier in the night, to record the win. R.A. Brown crossed the finish line in third, followed by Luke Sorrow in fourth and Kenneth Headen in fifth.

Neil Meredith, Colby Howard, Sawyer Frady, Charlie Barrett and Troy Burgess rounded out the top ten.

In other action, Shaun Mize topped the Super Limited field to score the feature victory. Rick Kelley finished in second, with Philip Peters in third, Steve Carver in fourth and Michael Bruton in fifth.

Will Ragsdale took the win in the BM Modifieds feature, with Chuck Mitchell in second, Austin Northcutt in third, Billy Brown in fourth and Mitchell Stone in fifth.

Jeffery Cummer was the winner in the Mini Stock feature. David Darnell finished second, with Cahd Campbell third, Bryan Mitchell fourth and Brad Burdette fifth.

Billy Brown scored the victory in the Renegades feature, with Chris Whitfield in second, Shane Brown in third, Jonathan Ragsdale in fourth and David Whitaker in fifth.

Austin Teras took home the win in the US Legends feature. Braden Longille, Danny Cisson, Garrett Smithley and Don Maness rounded out the top five.

Chris Harvell recorded the victory in the Front Wheel Drive feature, followed by Tommy Davis in second, Scott Parker in third, Hunter Evans in fourth and Manual Molleda in fifth.
