Rushton Takes Hartwell Fall Brawl Limited Late Model Win

Billy Rushton powered to the front of the Limited Late Model field at Georgia’s Hartwell Speedway, and drove to the victory in the track’s inaugural “Fall Brawl” on Saturday.

Rushton held Deno Long at bay to take the win at the 3/8 mile clay raceway. Drew Collins crossed the line in third, with Stephen Segars in fourth and Kenny Collins in fifth.

David McCoy, Elijah Gonzales, Dustin Mincey, Mike Kernells and Chad Puckett rounded out the top ten.

In other action, Dale Timms held off Cody Pritchett for the Crate Late Model feature win. Russell Fleeman finished in third, with Adam Partain in fourth and Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance in fifth.

Shane Yarbrough took the victory in the Hobby Stock feature, with Jeff Robinson in second, Drew Benefield in third, Daniel Fowler in fourth and Ricky Smith in fifth.

Jeremy Jones was the winner in the Stock V8 feature. Evan Brown, Cal Moon, Tyler Brown and Chad Hoopaugh rounded out the top five.

In the Stock Four feature, J.J. Garrett scored the victory, with Arti Ridgeway in second, Chris Wilson in third, Brent Couch in fourth and Jeremy Hicks in fifth.

James Coggins scored the Up Front feature victory, followed by Hunter Anthony in second, Justin Reed in third, Taylor McElhannon in fourth and Tyler Capps in fifth.

Nathan Bowen took the win in the Young Guns feature, with Tyler Kennedy in second.
