Spencer Davis Powers To Nashville Pro Late Model Victory

Spencer Davis came to Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville over the weekend with one goal in mind – to take home the coveted guitar trophy that goes to the winner.

The Dawsonville, GA wheelman did just that, as he led the most laps in Saturday’s Pro Late Model opener at the Nashville, TN raceway en route to the victory.

Davis, who is the current points leader in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, held off Dillon Oliver to take the win. Josh Weston finished third, with two-time Daytona 500 winner Sterling Marlin in fourth and Davey Coble in fifth.

Chandler Smith, Travis Braden, Austin Brawley, Michael Bolden and Dylan Fetcho rounded out the top ten.

In other action, Paul Nogradi, Jr. was the winner in the Limited Late Model feature. Allen Carter finished in second, with Chaz Chaffin in third, Howard Tucker in fourth and Larry Deal in fifth.

Tanner Arms scored the win in the Pro Mod feature, with Michael Kelly finishing second, Rick Rowland in third, Tre’ Ashworth in fourth and Corey Rowland in fifth.

Jerry Hendrixson was the winner in the Pure Stock feature, with Willie Coats in second, Robert Forsythe third, Charlie Caldwell fourth and Michael Toth fifth.

Travis Ryman took the victory in the Sportsman feature. Bobby Joe Rippey finished second, with Billy Schaffer third, Robert Cohron fourth and Joshua Hood fifth.

Jeffrey Belt beat out Matt Barnes for the Super Street win, with Terry Jackson, Curtis Daye and Tyler Cordell rounding out the top five.

Joshua Stephens led the most laps en route to the Front Runner feature victory. Ricky McIllwain finished second, followed by Phillip McCord in third, Travis Owens in fourth and Kevin Figueroa in fifth.

Jeff Green was the winner in the Legends feature. Preston Young crossed the finish line in second, with Zack Miller in third, Chris Stringer in fourth and Wayne Grubb in fifth.

Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville next plays host to a big weekend of racing, headlined by the ARCA Racing Series on the Music City high banks, along with the Southern Super Series and ARCA/CRA Late Models on Friday and Saturday, April 8-9.
