Robbie Woodall put together his second straight Masters/Pro Division win Saturday in week three of Winter Flurry Series action for Legends and Bandolero cars at Atlanta Motor Speedway’s quarter-mile Thunder Ring.

The McDonough, GA racer led every lap of the 25-lap feature, but the win didn’t come easy. After building an early lead, Woodall and Gainesville, GA’s Jeff Holden broke from the field in a two-car showdown in the final 10 laps.

Holden stayed hot on Woodall’s heels and came within striking distance more than once, but it wasn’t enough to overtake Woodall before the checkered flag flew. Mark Swan finished in third, with Phillip Young in fourth and Tony Armbruster in fifth.

The Semi-Pro feature looked to be a near identical race as the preceding Masters/Pro race, as Dylan Murry took the green flag and led each of the first 24 laps with Jensen Jorgensen in his rearview mirror the whole way.

As the field entered turn 4 on the final lap, the lead duo made contact, allowing Jorgensen’s older sister, Taylor, to sprint across the line for her first win of the year. Jason Treschl finished in second, with Amber Fleeman third, Murry fourth and Nicholas Waters in fifth.

A caution-free Chargers Division feature saw David Lawrence turn in a dominating performance, notching his first win of the season by leading all 25 laps. Corey Heim, driving for the first time behind the wheel of a Legends car, impressed with a second-place finish. Dawson Fletcher, who entered the day with two straight Chargers Division victories to start the season, finished third. Cameron Whitener came home in fourth, with Jonathan Timms in fifth.

In the Outlaws Division feature, Ricky Springer took the pole and led flag-to-flag for his first victory of the season. Blaise Maddox, Blaze Crawford, Gauntt Hudgins and Trey Tadrzak rounded out the top five.

Clay Thompson came out of the gate strong in the Bandits Division feature and led the first 17 circuits of the 25-lap race. He looked to be a lock for his second victory of the season, but when he spun in turn 2 on lap 18, handing the lead to Nathan Jackson with seven laps to go. Jackson led the rest of the way, holding off Michael Gannon to score his second straight win. Gannon finished second, while Audrie Roark crossed the line in third. Thompson recovered from his earlier spoin to make up four spots in the final laps to notch a fourth-place finish. River Allen finished in fifth.

The Rookie Bandolero Division feature saw fierce early competition between Andrew Dollar and Samantha Bart. Dollar and Bart ran nearly bumper-to-bumper up front from the third lap through the halfway point of the race in a battle for the lead. But as the pair entered the first turn of the 11th lap, both spun into the grass, sending them to the rear of the field. That opened the door for Anabelle Mowhish to assume the lead.

Mowhish made it count, never relinquishing the front spot for her first victory at AMS. Shelby Ruark was second, with Keaton Hendrix third. Dollar and Bart both recovered to claim fourth and fifth place finishes, respectively.
