Dutton Takes Outlaw Late Model Win At ‘The Melon’

Stuart Dutton held off Tony Head to win his second Georgia For Fair Tax Outlaw Late Model feature Saturday night at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, GA.

Dutton scored the victory in the season opener back on April 11, following that with a third place finish on May 2.

Head held on for second, with Stewart Smith in third and Alex Leverette in fourth.

In other action, Michael Hutto edged out Dusty Stafford to score the Enduro feature victory. John Burk finished in third, with Brandt Harvil in fourth and Carlton Israel in fifth.

Billy Nipper took the victory in the Super Street feature. Stuart Dutton, pulling double duty from the Outlaw Late Model race, finished in second, with Larry Walker in third.

Joseph Pilato was the winner in the Pro Challenge feature, with Bre Sharp in second, Blaze Rutherford in third and Robert Wilkerson in fourth.

Phil Dixon took top honors in the Economy Go Kart feature, with Scott Stroupe, Jessie James, Josh Helms and Freeman Burch rounding out the top five.

Cliff Daniels took the win in the Flathead Go Kart feature. Eric Bloodworh finished in second, with Travis Daniel in third, Tim Guillaume in fourth and Jeremy Moore in fifth.
