TAMPA, FL — Bryan Bernhardt picking up his second Late Model feature win of the year Saturday night at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL after a close call on the opening lap. Bernhardt was able to hold off hard charging Phillip Cobb and David Pollen, Jr. for the win, with David Schmauss in fourth and Jamie Slatton in fifth.
In other action, Forrest Gough nabbed his eighth Limited Late Model feature win of the year. Dalton Myers would finish second with Jeremy Simpson third, Richard Livernois, Jr. fourth and Jason Pope fifth.
In the Outlaw Fours feature it was Brandon Yates picking up the win after early leader Brian Barse was sidelined with engine issues. Nick Hebrank would finish second with points leader Zach Amundsen third. Mark Moniz and Candie Moniz rounded out the top five.
Kayla Jones scored her third Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bomber feature of the year, moving her up to second in points. Bailey Purcell finished in second, with Richard Humfeld third, Devon Smith fourth and Brett Calonge in fifth.
Ashley Humfeld took the Ladies Powder Puff feature win, with Angela Mayhew and Connie Humfeld third.
Action continues at East Bay Raceway Park on Friday night, September 12, with the Go-Karts and on Saturday, September 13, with the Late Models, East Bay Sprints, Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stocks, V8 Warriors and the Sunshine Micro Sprints.
