Justin Bonsignore made a last lap pass count, as he took the lead with two laps to go, and would go on to score the Richie Evans Memorial 100 for Tour Type Modifieds as part of the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing Friday night at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Bonsignore started the event from the 14th position, and would steadily work his way through the field over the 100 lap grind. He would move into the top five near the halfway mark.
With 13 to go, Eric Goodale and Ronnie Silk battled for the lead, with Bonsignore closing on the lead duo. Goodale would move to the lead, with Bonsignore moving to second. Over the closing laps, Bonsignore would worry the leader time after time.
With two laps to go, Bonsignore made his way out front, and drove away to score the win. Goodale came home in second, with Silk in third, Chuck Hoofeld in fourth and Doug Coby in fifth.
Rob Fuller, Spencer Davis, Ryan Preece, Matt Hirschman and Al Emmarino rounded out the top 10.
In other action, Harrison Burton scored his second straight Pro Late Model feature win, as he beat out Brad May to pick up the win. Spencer Davis finished in third, with Alex Guenette in fourth and Tim Sargent in fifth.
Ryan Moore came home with the win in the Super Late Model feature. Steve Wallace, Cameraon Hayley, Kyle Benjamin and David Rogers closed out the top five.
Ted Vulpius picked up the Mini-Stock victory, with Pat Wells in second, Shaun Cater in third, Jamie Dixson in fourth and Jason Reynolds in fifth.
The World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing wraps up Saturday night with the Super Late Model 100, along with Pro Late Model and Sportsman action.
