Michael House stole the show on Saturday night, winning both the Hunter Sand and Gravel Pro Late Model feature and the Open Wheel Modified feature. It was House’s first Pro Late Model win of the year and his second Open Wheel Modified win on the season.

In the 100 lap Pro Late Model feature, car owner and father-in-law Sterling Marlin ran second to House all night long, but couldn’t do anything with him. House was driving a car that Marlin had already won multiple races in, so it was no surprise to see the car return to victory lane. Points leader Davey Coble finished in third, so he didn’t lose too much ground to second place Marlin. With two points paying races remaining, Coble leads Marlin by just eight points. Daniel Bolden finished in fourth, with Michael Bolden in fifth.

Earlier in the evening, House kicked off his night by jumping in Andy Brittain’s Modified and dominating the Open Wheel Modified feature. This was his second win in Brittain’s ride this year. Rocky Rogels finished in second, with Brandon Curren in third, Dustin Knowles in fourth, and Tim Lawson in fifth.

In the Limited Late Model feature, nobody had anything for Steadman Marlin. He got shuffled back to fifth on the start, but slowly worked his way back through the field. By the halfway point he had worked around Bobby Terry for the lead. A late caution bunched everyone up, but it was Marlin’s night, as he went on to win his fourth straight Limited Late Model feature. Terry finished in second, with Allen Carter in third, John Earheart in fourth, and Clint Crowell in fifth.

Billy Shaffer made a big statement on Saturday night. That message was that he is ‘all in’ in his efforts to win the Sportsman championship. Shaffer grabbed the lead on the first lap and never gave it back. He stretched out his points lead over Howard Tucker and Cody Buford to ten points with just two races remaining. Jeffrey Belt finished in second, with David Lee Brown third, Buford fourth, and Tucker in fifth.

In the wildest race of the night, Robert Forsythe was able to survive and win his second straight Super Street feature in a race shortened due to the amount of cautions. Tempers were boiling over after this race as several racers were upset with one another. Points leader Bobby Joe Rippey wrecked several times, but amazingly he was able to come back and finish second. Jeremy Newman came home in third, with Matt Barnes in fourth, and Billy Williams in fifth.

William Coats was finally able to break through and get his first Pure Stock feature win of 2013. Coats was able to wrestle the lead away from Matthew Adams and pull away from the rest of the field. Stephanie Barnes, Ronald Jackson, and Nick Fredrick rounded out the top five.

David Moyes made it look easy in the Legends feature, as he checked out from the rest of the field and cruised to his fourth straight victory. Chad Davis finished in second, with Wayne Grubb in third, Jeff Young in fourth, and Willie Allen in fifth.

Wayne Basket won the pole for the Front Runners feature, but was forced to start in fourth after the inversion. However, it didn’t take Basket very long to pilot his machine to the front of the field. He went on to win his fourth feature in a row, with Matt Barnes, Travis Ownes, Jeffrey Taylor,a nd Jason Taylor rounding out the top five.
