The Georgia Racing Hall of Fame in Dawsonville, GA has announced a date change for their annual Hall of Fame induction banquet.

The banquet will now be held on Friday, December 13, 2013, moving away from its traditional October date.

The move was made to make sure the annual banquet did not impede on other racing events going on in October, a factor that has long kept groups of racers or fans from being able to attend.

“This should allow drivers, teams, and fans alike to be able to attend the banquet and honor our heroes without worrying about having to get to the race track afterwards.  We feel like this will be a win-win situation for all of us.”

Tickets will be available for purchase soon for the 2013 banquet.  Visit georgiaracinghof.com for more information.
