Raceweek Illustrated Garage Talk Ep. 7 Available Online

Raceweek Illustrated Garage Talk's most recent episode, which aired May 19, 2012, is now available to be viewed online.

The seventh installment of Raceweek Illustrated Garage Talk, which first aired May 19, 2012, features coverage from the Racing Radios 100 at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, Georgia, a visit with Gordon Pirkle to discuss the 10th anniversary of the Georgia racing Hall of Fame, and results from area race tracks.

In the first segment, Host Brandon Reed and co-host Doug Turnbull review action from the Racing Radios 100 Super Late Model feature at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, Georgia. They’re joined by GMP General Manager Dan Elliott to discuss the weekend of racing action.

In the second segment, host Brandon Reed sits down with Hall of Fame chairman Gordon Pirkle to talk about the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame 10th anniversary celebration, slated for May 26.

In the third segment, Doug Turnbull reviews the local divisions from Gresham Motorsports Park’s recent Racing Radios 100 weekend. We also take a look at racing results from Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Greenville, SC, Friday Night Drags at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA, and Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, GA. Plus, we preview the upcoming Slack Auto Parts 150 NASCAR K&N event at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, GA with track GM Dan Elliott.

Also this week, we include Raceweek Illustrated Garage Talk’s first web only “Extra” segment, which premiered earlier this week as a supplement to the May 19, 2012 program.

Our first “Extra” is a little something different, however, as Raceweek Illustrated Garage Talk host Brandon Reed presents a first – the first “Special Comment” for our program.
