There’s another hectic weekend of racing on tap, as several series begin to wind down and get ready to crown their champions.  Whether racers are looking for that last chance victory or trying to score a few more points towards a title, here’s a look at some of the great racing fans can look forward to this weekend.

Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia returns to action tonight (Friday) with a full local racing program.  For more info, visit www.boydsspeedway.net.

East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama plays host to the 33rd annual Alabama State Championship Races Sept. 29 – Oct. 2.  Visit www.eamsdirt.com for more info.

Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, Georgia hosts a full slate of racing Saturday, Oct. 1, including Limited Late Model, FASTRAK Late Model, Modified Street, Stock V8, Stock Four, Young Guns and Up Front.  For more information, check www.hartwell-speedway.com.

Mobile International Speedway in Irvington, Alabama will be back in this weekend with two nights of racing for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship of Mobile International Speedway the Lee Fields Memorial 150.  For more information, visit www.mobilespeedway.net.

-The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series travels to Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware on Sunday for the AAA 400.  The Nationwide Series is also at Dover, as they run the OneMain Financial 200 on Saturday.  The Camping World Truck Series travels to Kentucky Motor Speedway in Sparta, KY for the Kentucky 225 Saturday night.  The K&N Pro Series East will run their season finale at Dover International Speedway this (Friday) afternoon.  The Whelen Modified Tour travels to Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, CT Sunday for the CarQuest Fall Final.  The Whelen Southern Modified Tour is at Caraway Speedway in Sophia, NC for the rescheduled Caraway 150.  For more info, visit www.nascar.com.
