Full Plate Of Racing Served Up For Fans This Weekend

With a mixture of fast super speedway racing, twisting, turning road course action, two wheeled motorcycle thunder, dirt track action and ground pounding drag racing, motorsports fans will have a full plate of racing to feast on this weekend.

Here’s a look at some of the action on tap for race fans over the next few days.

-Action is slated to return to Anderson Motor Speedway in Anderson, SC on Friday, Aug. 19, with the UARA Starts Late Model series, along with a full regular racing program.  For more information, visit www.andersonmotorspeedway.com.

Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia hosts the final round of Friday Night Drags tonight, August 19. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and nightly drag race eliminations start after 9:00 p.m.  For more info, visit www.atlantamotorspeedway.com.

-Action roars back into Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia on Friday, Aug. 19 with a full racing program.  For more information, visit www.boydsspeedway.net.

-The legendary Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia plays host to a full racing program, Super Bomber championship plus Georgia Micro Sprints on Saturday, Aug. 20.  For more info, visit www.dixiespeedway.com.

-Racing returns to East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama on Saturday, Aug. 20 with racing in the Late Model, Limited Sportsman, Hobby, Bomber, Modified and Road Warrior divisions.  Visit www.eamsdirt.com for more information.

Lanier National Speedway in Braselton, Georgia features Pro Late Model action this Saturday, Aug. 20, with a pair of 50 lap events, along with action from the Trucks, Legends and Bandoleros.  For more info, visit www.lanierspeedway.com.
