Series officials have announced the scheduling of two additional races to the popular Racing For Fair Tax/David Ragan Ford Outlaw Late Model Series at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Georgia.
The dates include an event on August 27, with the second be added on October 15.
An event for the series had already been scheduled for Oct. 1, and will be run as planned.
“The October 15 race will be our season ending race and we are working on details to make this a very special and very lucrative race for the participants,” said series official Terry Short. “We will be announcing the details in the very near future.”
The series, which is hosted by Watermelon Capital Speedway, has quickly become one of the most popular in the area, drawing cars from all over the southeast. David Hodges won the series opener on June 11, with David Murphy winning on June 25. The last two races, on July 9 and July 30, were won by Scot Smith.
