A.J. Maddox powered to the front of the field, and drove away to score the win in the East Bay Sprints feature at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, FL on Saturday night.
Maddox held off Kerry Gilbert for the victory in the 20-lap race, with Tony Agin crossing the finish line in the third position. Dylan Colding finished in fourth, with Johnnie Alexander in fifth.
Andrew Griffin, Tim George, David Kelly, Jason Webster and Mike Steinruck rounded out the top ten.
In other action, Tim Gay won his fifth Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stock feature of the year. Jeff Rodgers finished in second, with Dennis Williams in third, Buck Woodhouse in fourth and David Barwick II in fifth.
In the Gagel’s Open Wheel Modifieds feature, Bill Howard, Sr. picked up the victory, with Steve Miller in second and his brother Matt Miller in third. Mavrick Varnadore came home in fourth with Roger Crouse in fifth.
Brandon Yates won his second Foster’s Auto Truck Outlaw Fours feature of the season. Billy Dukes, Jr., Nick Hebrank, Brittany Yates and Mark Moniz rounded out the top five.
Kayla Jones scored her second straight Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers feature victory. David Wilbur ran second, with Bailey Purcell in third, Randy Tyler in fourth and Robert Gullet, Sr. in fifth.
