Saturday night’s Hobby feature at Georgia’s Hartwell Speedway was a battle between the Yarbrough family.

Joe Yarbrough held off his cousin, Shane Yarbrough, to score the victory at the 3/8 mile clay raceway.

But Shane did not make it easy.

Throughout the 15 lap feature, Shane worked to find a way around Joe to take the lead. Lap after lap, Shane would move to the inside, getting alongside his cousin through the corners, only to see Joe power out of the turns, using the momentum in the high groove to hold on to the top spot.

On the final lap, Shane was able to again move alongside of the leader as they raced off the fourth turn, but Joe was able again to hold him off as they raced under the checkered flag.

Behind the Yarbrough cousins, Daniel Doster finished in third, followed by Jay Motes in fourth and Scott Slama in fifth.

In other action, Ashley Poole led wire-to-wire en route to the victory in the combined Limited/Crate Late Model feature. Chris Woods finished in second, with Mason Tucker in third, Eric Veal in fourth and Grant Jordan in fifth.

Shannon Duck held off a hard charging Stephen House to score the Stock V8 feature win. Paul Moore finished third, with Wilton Bailey fourth and Rocky Jones fifth.

Chris Little took the victory in the Stock Four feature. Ryan Boles followed in second, with Arti Ridgeway in third, Bubba Nation in fourth and Pete Whitley in fifth.

Joel Powell, Sr. scored the win in the Up Front feature, with Jason Richey, Randy Shaw, Kalen Holmes and Dillion Christian rounding out the top five.

Michael McTier was the winner in the Modified Street feature, with Thomas Segars in second place.
