Wormy Gaddis jumped out to the early lead of Saturday’s Modified Street feature at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway, and drove away to the victory.

The Winder, Georgia speedster started on the outside of the front row, and battled with pole sitter Aaron Criswell on the drop of the green flag. Gaddis would take the lead off of turn two, and would hold it the rest of the way.

Behind him, Griswell soon came under fire from Daniel Doster, with Doster taking the second position with a run off the top side of the second turn.

Over the next several laps, Gaddis would build his lead. Behind him, Shane Peppers moved into the fight for second. That fight would boil over when Peppers and Criswell made contact in turn four, sending both around and bringing out the caution.

On the restart, Gaddis again drove out to a commanding lead, while Jordan Poole powered around Doster to take second. A few laps later, Poole spun in turn four, nosing into the wall and gathering up Doster to bring out the second caution of the race.

Back under green, Gaddis again moved out to a big lead, while Criswell and Cowboy Manders fought for second. Coming to the white flag, Criswell tagged the turn two wall, allowing Manders to move past. But on the final lap, Manders slipped in turn two, allowing Criswell to retake the spot.

Meanwhile, Gaddis drove away to the victory. Criswell finished in second, with Manders third and Poole in fourth.

In other action, Josh Hardegree held off Jerome Hanson to score the Hobby feature victory. Dustin Cason finished in third, with Chad Atha in fourth and Andy Barton in fifth.

Ronnie Poole scored the victory in the Stock V8 feature, with Mark Chancey finishing in second.

James Robinson was the winner in the Stock 4A feature, with Joseph Dyer, Randy Peppers, Coty Sanders and Justin Taylor rounding out the top five.

Rain moved in over the track late in the evening, washing out both the Limited Late Model and Stock 4B features for the night.
