Clint Smith finished up the points season at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway with an exclamation point Saturday night.

Smith won the Super Late Model feature, securing his third straight division points title. The veteran was joined by seven first-time points champions crowned.

Also claiming championships were Matt Dooley in Limited Late Models, Jamie Maurice in Crate Late Models, Keith Fields in Late Model Sportsman, Joe Hillman in Hobby, Mark Newton in Mini Stock and Dorough Bright in Bomber. Nathan Farrow won the inaugural season points title in Hot Shots.

Smith’s final round victory was not an easy one. Smith started in row three before working the bottom side of the track to move towards the front. He slid past Zach Leonhardi for third before making the move past Bubba Pollard just a few laps later.

Smith moved to the top side through the middle stage of the feature before Leonhardi found a rhythm using the same part of the track. Leonhardi squeezed past Pollard coming out of turn two before setting his sights on tracking down Smith. He caught the leader coming out of turn four on lap 13 lifting him up at the flagstand before spinning himself out in turn one.

“My car was flying tonight,” said Leonhardi. “Just made a mistake that cost us.”

With Leonhardi relegated to the back of the pack for the restart, Smith led the rest of the way posting his sixth points victory of the season. Pollard finished second ahead of Lamar Haygood in third, Kenny Collins in fourth and Leonhardi in fifth.

Cass Fowler scored the win in the Limited Late Model feature, with Matt Dooley in second, Dustin Elliott in third, Kenneth Pendley in fourth and Corey Roulette in fifth.

Dennis Lynkins, Jr. led flag-to-flag en route to the Crate Late Model feature win. Dylan Knowles finished in second, with Wayne Harbin third, Ahnna Parkhurts fourth and Jamie Maurice in fifth.

Craig Scott was the winner in the Late Model Sportsman feature, with Bobby Arnold, Chris Steele, Chad Duncan and Billy Stevenson in fifth.

Ted Willingham held off Joe Hillman for the Hobby Stock feature victory. Shane Tidwell came home in third, with Clyde Alexander fourth and Scott Sherrer fifth.

Dorough Bright scored the victory in the Bomber feature, followed by McKenna Nelms in second, Randy Cornwell in third, Charlie Garrett in fourth and Derrick Matthews fifth.

Mark Newton dominated the Mini Stock feature en route to the victory. J.J. Garrett came across in second, with Jamie Godbee in third, Marc Leath in fourth and Gary Parker in fifth.

Tony Newman was flagged the winner of the Hot Shot feature, but was disqualified after refusing a car claim. That handed the win to Logan Johnson.
