McCoy Sweeps Late Model Features At Toccoa Raceway

David McCoy doubled up on Saturday night at Georgia’s Toccoa Raceway.

The Franklin, North Carolina wheelman swept the night’s Late Model features, taking wins in both the Limited Late Model and FASTRAK Pro Late Model races at the historic 5/16 mile clay speedway.

In the Limited Late Model feature, McCoy held off Drew Collins to record the victory. Wesley English finished in third, followed by David Conley in fourth and Ted Crunkleton in fifth

In the FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature, McCoy scored the win over Adam Smith in second, with Frankie Beard in third, Daniel Wilson in fourth and Drew Benfield in fifth.

In other action, Dale Timms took the victory in the 602 Sportsman/Hobby feature, with Cameron Crowe following in second. Jimmy Gray finished in third, Nick Sellers in fourth and Crandall Turner in fifth.

Robbie Campbell was the winner in the Modified Street feature. Sterling Helm came home in second, followed by Billy Buffington in third, Robert Stewart in fourth and Stephen Segars in fifth.

Coon Ayers scored the victory in the Toccoa Pro Truck feature, with Cameron Collett second, Bill Pulliam third, Ralph Anderson fourth and Benji Stewart fifth.

Randy Boshers took the win in the Stock 4 feature, with Harley Holden, Jackie Holden, Bud Elliot and Brandon Elliot rounding out the top five.

In the Stock V8 feature, James Campbell held off Hayden Collett for the win. Ray Foskey finished in third, with Chase Baird in fourth and Bobby Hellard in fifth.

Jackie Holden was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature, with Calob Nicholson second, Robert Hunt third, Nickoli Holcomb fourth and Daniel Reynolds fifth.

Toccoa Raceway was one of several area race tracks who worked Saturday night to raise money for ailing race enthusiast Justin Tollison. The speedway raised $3,219 to aid in final arrangements for the 25-year-old, who passed away Sunday morning.
