Ricky Smith Scores First FASTRAK PLM Win At Toccoa

Ricky Smith drove to his first FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature victory in dominating fashion on Saturday night at Georgia’s Toccoa Raceway.

The Hiawassee, Georgia racer powered to the lead from the pole at the drop of the green flag, and then held off David McCoy to score the win at the historic 5/16-mile clay speedway.

Colby Cannon finished in third, with Drew Benefield in fourth and Derrick Harvey in fifth.

Frankie Beard, Sylvan Schuette, Jody Farmer and Larry Waters rounded out the finishing order.

In other action, Gus Simpson scored the win in the Limited Late Model feature, with David McCoy in second, Drew Collins in third, Wesley English in fourth and Dustin Mincey in fifth.

Crandall Turner was the winner in the 602 Sportsman/Hobby feature. Nick Sellers finished in second, with Brandon Stroud in third, Joey McCoy in fourth and Ben Riggins in fifth.

Rusty Jordan held off Sterling Helm to take the victory in the Modified Street feature. Billy Buffington finished third, with Daniel Snow fourth and Preston Strickland fifth.

Cameron Collett scored the win in the Toccoa Pro Truck feature, with Coon Ayers, Jimmy Motes, Benji Stewart and Terry Calhoun rounding out the top five.

In the Stock V8 feature, Evan Brown was flagged the winner, with Jeremy Jones in second. But both of them had issues in post-race tech inspection that led to both being disqualified. That moved Hayden Collett to the win, with Joel Dowling in second, Ricky Jones in third and Tyler Kennedy in fourth.

Jackie Holden was the winner in the Stock 4 feature, with Kevin Kelly second, Ryan Crawford third, Nathan Nation fourth and Ryan Boles in fifth.

Calob Nicholson took the win in the Front Wheel drive feature. Daniel Reynolds followed in second, with Jackie Holden in third and Robert Hunt in fourth.
