“Cornbread” Haley Takes Lavonia Limited Late Model Win

Brandon “Cornbread” Haley drove to the lead in Saturday night’s Limited Late Model feature at Georgia’s Lavonia Speedway, and went on to score the victory at the 3/8-mile clay raceway.

Haley, who hails from Lavonia, Georgia, took the hometown win over Bubba Russell, who had to settle for second. Ashley Poole came home in third, with Bryan Mullis in fourth and Dustin Mincey in fifth.

Asphalt Late Model veteran Russell Fleeman finished sixth, with Jimmy Ivester, Jesse Ivester, Ted Crunkleton, and Elijah Gonzalas rounding out the top five.

In other action, Parker Herring took top honors in the Crate Late Model feature. Taylor Puckett finished in second, with Joshua Biship in third, Drew Cole in fourth, and Will Beard in fifth.

Shane Yarbrough was the winner in the Hobby Stock feature, with Rusty House in second, Aaron Calvert in third, Dustin Mincey in fourth, and Cody Smith in fifth.

Rusty Jordan beat out Michael McTier to take the victory in the Modified feature. Daniel Doster ran third, with Sterling Helm fourth and Chaz Sellers fifth.

Jeremy Jones was the winner in the Stock V8 feature, with Jack Hill, Evan Brown, Rocky Jones and Ricky Chamberlain rounding out the top five.

In the Stock Four feature, Kevin Kelly recorded the win, with Ryan Boles in second, Bubba Nation in third, Scott Hollars in fourth and Dustin Ogletree in fifth.

Tyler Riddle took the victory in the Rookie feature, followed by Preston Kelly in second, Daniel Booth in third, Dakota Whittemore in fourth and Nathaniel Little in fifth.

Hunter Anthony scored the win in the Up Front feature. Joe Cable came home in second, with Joel Powell, Jr. in third, Chris Beacham in fourth, and Joel Powell, Sr. in fifth.
