Russell Rockets To Hartwell Limited Late Model Victory

Bubba Russell held off the Limited Late Model field en route to the victory Saturday night at Georgia’s Hartwell Speedway.

Russell, who hails from Comer, Georgia, beat out Jimmy Ivester for the feature win around the 3/8 mile clay raceway.

Jessie Ivester crossed the finish line in third, with Shaun Thomas in fourth and Jamie Ivester in fifth.

In other action, Adam Partain took the win in the Crate Late Model feature. Dale Timms finished second, with Grant Jordan third, Payton Freeman fourth and Taylor Puckett fifth.

Cameron Crowe was the winner in the Hobby Stock feature, with Joe Yarbrough in second, Joe Cash in third, Don McDonald in fourth and Josh Roberts in fifth.

Thomas Segars scored the victory in the Modified Street feature. David Archer was second, with Goat Fortson third, Johnny Pilgrim fourth and Preston Strickland fifth.

Rocky Jones took the win in the Stock V8 feature, with Jack Hill, Chad Hoopaugh, Jeremy Jones and Paul Moore rounding out the top five.

In the Stock Four feature, Jeffery Lord came home with the victory. Ryan Boles finished in second, with Austin Brumbelow in third, Kevin Tullis in fourth and P.J. Taylor in fifth.

Hunter Anthony scored the Front Wheel Drive win. Ricky Holcombe finished second, with Tony Weaman third, Cody Henry fourth and Randy Shaw fifth.

Hartwell Speedway returns to action on Saturday, April 1, with racing in the SECA Late Model, Modified Street, Stock V8, Hobby, Stock Four and Up Front divisions.
