Mickey Morris Scores Super Pro Victory At Commerce

Mickey Morris made Saturday a day of firsts in Saturday’s National Dragster Challenge at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.

It was his first Super Pro victory of the season, and the first win in his Neal & Parks Dragster.

Morris defeated Michael Bruce in his Danny Nelson Race Craft dragster. Morris ran a 4.908 ET on a dial in of 4.88 at 141.76 mph and a 0.021 reaction time to Bruce’s 4.887 ET off his dial of 4.87 at 141.95 mph and a 0.037 reaction.

In other action, Chad Brewer scored the Pro division victory, defeating Wesley Tucker. Brewer ran a 6.755 ET on a 6.75 dial in (dead on) at 98.76 mph and a 0.027 reaction. Tucker ran a 7.131ET off his 7.13 dial in (dead on) at 93.02 mph and a reaction of 0.046.

In the Sportsman finals, Dickey Forrester defeated Seth Bevins. Forrester ran an 11.719 ET on his 11.69 dial in at 113.83 mph and a reaction time of 0.044. Bevins ran a 12.164 ET off his 12.20 dial in (break out) at 109.02 mph and a 0.069 reaction.

In the Super Pro Bike final, Jimmy Heisler defeated Tim Sutton for the win. Heisler ran a 6.786 ET on a 6.77 dial in at 101.84 mph and a 0.096 reaction time. Sutton ran a 5.552 ET off a 5.53 dial in at 121.74 mph and a 0.124 reaction time.

In the Street ET Bike Final, Randy Day defeated Jordan Autrey, the 2016 Points Champion. Day ran an 8.881 ET on his dial in of 8.86 at 142.01 mph and a reaction time of 0.024. Autrey, also on a Kawasaki, ran 9.344 ET on his 9.33 dial in at 143.70 mph and a 0.067 reaction.
