McCoy Takes Limited Late Model Win In Hartwell Finale

David McCoy closed out Hartwell Speedway’s 2016 regular season in the best way possible – with a victory in the Limited Late Model feature at the Hartwell, Georgia raceway.

McCoy, from Franklin, North Carolina beat out Drew Collins to take the win at the 3/8 mile clay speedway.

Clayton Turner finished in third, with Ashley Poole in fourth and Jimmy Johnson in fifth.

Stephen Segars, Kole Hardy, Daniel Wilson, Bubba Russell and Russell Fleeman rounded out the top ten.

In other action, Danny Sanders scored the victory in the SECA Crate Late Model feature. Frankie Beard finished second, followed by Payton Freeman in third, Grant Jordan in fourth and Daniel Wilson in fifth.

Shane Yarbrough was the winner in the Hobby Stock feature, followed by Cody Segars in second, Mark Parham in third, Michael Lyons in fourth and John Howard in fifth.

Jeremy Jones took the victory in the Stock V8 feature, with Shannon Duck in second, Lynn Cleveland in third, Dustin Evans in fourth and Evan Brown in fifth.

Jeffrey Lord topped the Stock Four field to pick up the win. Jeremy Hicks, Shane Strickland, Mason Tucker and Ryan Boles rounded out the top five.

Joel Powell, Jr. scored the win in the Up Front feature. Justin Sorrow followed in second, with Trey Chapman in third, Wayne Chapman in fourth and Kalen Holmes in fifth.
