Clint Smith became the first driver in Senoia Raceway history to capture two track titles within the same season at the Georgia speedway.

The Senoia, Georgia resident won his second consecutive title in the Super Late Model division with a third place feature finish on Saturday. He followed that up with a career high fifteenth feature victory in the Limited Late Model division and his second crown of the season.

Smith started back in the field for the Super Late Model points finale. Austin Horton started up front and led the race flag to flag with Jason Croft chasing him nearly throughout the entire 25-lap race. Smith would wind up third and become champion for the second straight year. Joe Armistead, Jr. finished in fourth, with Joey Armistead in fifth.

Smith waited until the timing was correct to move into the lead position in the Limited Late Model main event. Matt Dooley battled back and forth with Bailey Williams for several laps at the drop of the green. The hard charging duo swapped the lead a few times before Smith worked past both and into the lead on lap 15.

Smith would cruise from that point through the checkers winning his record fifteenth Limited Late Model feature win of the season. Glenn Morris finished in second, with Dooley in third, Williams in fourth and Jason Williams in fifth.

Bubba Pollard ran flag to flag for his sixth win of the season in the Crate Late Model feature. Pollard held off Craig Scott, with Dillon tidmore in third, Trey Wood in fourth and Wayne Harbin in fifth.

Point’s champion Marty Lunsford ended up tenth in the final points race of the season, but the title winner had sewed up the season crown four weeks ago.

Bobby Arnold drove to the victory in the B Cadet feature. Parrish Duncan finished in second, nailing down his second straight division championship. Ted Minnix finishe din third, with Billy Stevenson in fourth and Clyde Alexander in fifth.

An eight car pile-up on a lap 12 restart for the Hobby Stock feature marred what was a very competitive race. Ben Steele got turned on the drop of the green and everyone started piling in as the field of cars charged into turn one. There were several cars that were damaged beyond repair, but no drivers were injured.

Joe Hillman took home the win, with Curtis Turner second. James Swanger was third, followed by Randy Cornwell in fourth to take the division championship. Jamie Simmons finished in fifth.

Brannon Knight won the Mini Stock feature, with Jamie Rowan in second, Mike Younginer in third, and Jamie Godbee in fourth and Jamie Nicholson, Sr. in fifth. Jamie Nicholson, Jr. finished in 11th to capture the division championship.

Tim Harmon won the title in the Bomber division despite being turned around in front of the field coming to the checkered flag. Harmon was leading when Randy Cornwell tagged him in the final turn. Harmon slid down the track and collected Carly Arnett, who was runnin in third when the crash took place.

Cornwell was disqualified for rough driving, handing the victory to Ricky Neill. Chris Steele was second, with Wally Smith third, Brent Harmon in fourth and Wilson Boozer in fifth. Harmon was scored in ninth and Arnett in tenth.

Steve Pate won the NeSmith Street Stock race which saw only five competitors.
