Jonathan Davenport made a clean sweep of the Ultimate Super Late Model Series weekend.

The Blairsville, Georgia speedster scored a $12,000 payday at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on Thursday night after contact with race leader Scott Bloomquist around the halfway point of the event that sent Bloomquist spinning.

Davenport then held off Jimmy Owens to record his seventh career series victory, and his first of the season.

Bloomquist recovered from his spin to come home in third place, with Dawsonville, Georgia’s Donald McIntosh in fourth and Chad Ogle finished in fifth.

Jeff Wolfenbarger, Billy Ogle, Jr., Jimmy McNamara, Ryan King and Derek Fisher rounded out the top ten.

Davenport backed up Thursdsay’s victory by making a second trip to USLMS victory lane on Friday night, this time at Tennessee’s Crossville Speedway.

Davenport took control of the race from Mike Marlar on lap three and held on to take the victory.

Dennis Franklin finished in second, with Billy Ogle, Jr. in third, Derek Fisher in fourth and Kenny Collins in fifth.

Caleb Ashby, Josh Putnam, Glenn Elliott, Tom Maddox and Jeremy Hines rounded out the top ten.

The Ultimate Super Late Model Series next ravels to South Carolina’s Modoc Raceway on Saturday, August 27, paying $5,000 for the win.
