Toccoa Raceway played host to the Alpha Art Company Crate Sportsman Thunder Series on Saturday night, as Mitchell Godfrey edged out a strong field on competitors to score the victory at the historic Toccoa, GA speedway.
Godfrey held off Clayton Turner to pick up the victory, with Brandon Stroud in third, Nick Sellers in fourth and Chris Steele in fifth.
Michael Lyons, John Howard, Chris Patterson, Rod Roberts and Cody Segars rounded out the top ten.
In other action, David McCoy took the win in the FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature. Ricky Smith finished in second, with Derrick Harvey in third, Jesse Ivester in fourth and Daniel Wilson in fifth.
Gus Simpson scored the victory in the Limited Late Model feature, with David McCoy second, Wesley English third, Jr. Headen fourth and David Conley fifth.
Justin Sims was the winner in the Modified Street feature. Thomas Seagers finished second, followed by Billy Buffington in third, Clifton Snow in fourth and Mark Wilbanks in fifth.
Harley Holden took the victory in the Stock 4 feature. Shane Strickland, Shane Elliott, Earnest Cowart and Randy Boshears rounded out the top five.
In the Stock V8 feature, Dylan Golden scored the win, with Matthew Furgerson in second, Ray Foskey in third, Ricky Chamberlain in fourth and Jamie Reynolds in fifth.
Chris Hunt was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Jackie Holden finished second, with Robert Cook third, Lisa Calhoun fourth and Daniel Reynolds fifth.
