Lamar Scoggins dominated Saturday night’s Steel Head Late Model feature at Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, TN, besting the nine car field to take the victory.

Scoggins led flag-to-flag to take the win, with Tod Hernandez finishing in second. Matt Steward rolled home in third, with Glen Seaton III in fourth and Danny Turner, in his Late Model debut, finished in fifth.

It was a similar story in the Crate Late Model feature, as Jerry Coffman led wire-to-wire to top the 17 car field. Meanwhile Josh Fields and Booger Brooks fought for the runner up position behind Coffman, with Fields taking the position. Fields tried to run down Coffman over the closing laps, but could not make up for lost time.

Bobby Mayse took third, with Brooks in fourth and David Doss in fifth.

In the A-Hobby feature, Justin Winters made his first trip to victory lane of the season with a win. Joe Griggs finished in second, with Jason Brown third, Jim Clark fourth and John Clark in fifth.

While Winters ran away with the race, all eyes were on points leader Brandon Stanfield, who was racing from the rear to third when he hit the wall with laps to go. He would end up in the seventh position at the end of the night.

In the B-Hobby feature, Michael Brooks dominated for the win, while Jimmy Smith rallied past Adam Earwood for second. Sam Jones finished in fourth, with Adrian Williams in fifth.

Jeff Bates took the victory in the Road Warriors feature, with James Huffman, Mark Johnston, Seth Barbee and Tyler Dixon rounding out the top five.

After taking Halloween off, Cleveland Speedway returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 7 for the Jean Johnson Memorial, with the UCRA Crate Late Model Series heading up the racing card, along with all local classes.
