Shawn Chastain wrapped up the regular season of action at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA by scoring the Super Late Model feature win Saturday night.

Chastain took the lead off the start from the pole, and led wire-to-wire for the win. It was not easy sailing, as behind him, the cars of Frank Ingram, Jake Knowles and David Payne kept the leader well within sight as they battled for second. Ingram and Knowles would swap the position back and forth several laps before Knowles took the spot for good and began to chase down the leader. Knowles fell short at the end, settling for second. Ingram followed in third, with Payne in fourth and Wayne Echols in fifth.

The division saw a scary moment in qualifying, when Bryan Smith took a frightening, end over end roll in turn three during his second flying lap. Fortunately, Smith’s car stayed off the fence and Smith was uninjured.

In other action, Michael Page took the lead from Jason Smith early in the going and went on to cross under the checkered flag first in the Steel Head Late Model feature. Page then had to sit through a protest and was found legal to hold onto the win. Smith settled for second, with Mario Gresham third, Cass Fowler fourth and Alan Brewer in fifth.

In the Crate Late Model feature, Justin Shipley took the win over Mark Page in second and Logan Palmer in third. It was a night of attrition as these were the only racers to finish the show.

Randall Powell took the win in the Super Bomber feature but had second place finisher Brantley Hardin on his bumper the entire distance. Gary Hardin followed in third with Jeremy Millsaps fourth and Austin King fifth.

Landon Bagby took the lead early on in the Economy Bomber feature and looked to be heading for the win. But it all went away when was bumped into the frontstretch wall while trying to pass a slower lap car. That handed the lead to Harvey Cunningham, who went on to take his first career win. Seth Lacey, Andrew Moody, Tyler Williams and Dalton Polston rounded out the top five.

Mitchell Pope took his second straight Pony Stock victory, with Bo Jordan in second, Johnny Land in third, Tex Holden in fourth and Herbert Barnes in fifth.

Edwin Scott had a close call en route to the win in the Cruiser feature. As he was racing in the middle of a three wired race in turns three and four, the slower car of William Edmondson broke a wheel, sending his car flipping in front of the leaders. Scott, racing the middle, was left with nowhere to go, running into the roof of the flipping Edmonson. Neither driver was uninjured, and Scott restarted the race at the rear. He would power his way through the field to take the lead in the closing laps. From there, he would go on to take the victory. George Wilson followed in second with Randy Ledford third, Anthony Pittman fourth and Jimmy Wilson in fifth.
