Wayne Niedecken, Jr. had a night to remember.

Saturday night, he won the final Pro Late Model race of the season at Mobile International Speedway in Irvington, AL, and took the 2015 division season championship.

He did all this in a borrowed car.

The ride that took him to the top of the PLM points for the year developed problems Saturday night, and Niedecken had to strap in using a car he built for another driver, Johnny Greene.

Niedecken started the 100 lap race dead last, and worked up through traffic. By lap 90, found himself in a back and forth battle with fast qualifier Hunter Robbins. Niedecken had a large enough points lead that he would have won the season crown without the win, but came out on top of the battle by taking the checkered flag first.

It marked the 11th track championships in a career that spans over four decades.
Robbins finished second, with Ryan Paul in third, Luke Christian in fourth and Josh Bragg in fifth.

In other action, Howard Langham scored the victory in the Pro Truck feature, with Steven Davis in second, Donald Crocker in third, Jay Jay Day in fourth and Okie Mason in fifth. Mason was the division champion for the season.

Lee “Red Dog” Reynolds was the winner in the Sportsmen feature winner and took home the division championship. Steve Buttrick, Jonathan Langham, Jason Smith and Michael Ledlow rounded out the top five finishers.

In the Bomber feature, William Leytham scored the victory, with Matt Jackson in second, Rusty Powell, Jr. in third, Tommie Blocker in fourth and Jonathan Smith in fifth. Jackson was the division champion.

Other division champions on the season included Casey Smith in Super Late Models and Jason Johnson in Super Stocks.
