Haskins Hustles To Late Model Stock Victory At Anderson

Three times this season, Cody Haskins has finished second in a Late Model Stock feature at Anderson Motor Speedway. Two of those times, he ran second to R.A. Brown.

On Friday night, the Marietta, GA speedster finally beat out Brown to make his first trip into victory lane for the season at the Williamston, SC raceway.

Haskins topped the 11 car Late Model Stock field to pick up the win, with Brown finishing in second. Justin Sorrow came home in third, with Trey Gibson in fourth and David Roberts in fifth.

In other action, Chad Campbell raced to the victory in the Mini Stock feature. David Darnell finished second, with Bobby Brock in third, Avery Burgess in fourth and Colby Howard in fifth.

In the US Legends feature, Justin Ashley topped the field to score the win, with Rex Brown in second, Lee Jordan in third, Karl Moberg in fourth and Craig Bruce in fifth.

Troy Carnes picked up the Renegades feature victory, while Chris Whitfield, Tommy Stokes, Jonathan Ragsdale and Mike Childers rounded out the top five.

Michael Mote was the winner in the Super Renegades feature, with Shaun Mize finishing in second, Jack Robertson in third, Chris Black in fourth and Michael Bruton in fifth.

Scott Parker took the Front Wheel Drive feature win. Casey Burkett ran second, with Robert Hall third, Michael Posey fourth and Shaun Mize fifth.

Anderson Motor Speedway returns to action on Friday, July 31, featuring the Renegades Summer Slam, with $500 on the line to win in a 30 lap feature. The BM Modified, Mini Stock, Super Stock, US Legends and Front Wheel Drive divisions are also slated to be in action.
