David McCoy Tops Southeastern Late Models At Lavonia

David McCoy powered to the front of the field in Friday night’s Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series feature at Lavonia Speedway, and held on to score the victory.

McCoy, of Franklin, NC, had to hold off Riley Hickman to score the win at the 3/8 mile clay oval in Lavonia, GA, to take the top prize.

Steve Segars came home in third, with Billy Rushton in fourth and Brent Russell in fifth.

Brant Carey, Clayton Turner, JR Headen, Justin Sims and Chris McKeehan rounded out the top ten.

In other action, Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance added to his FASTRAK Pro Late Model win total for the year by holding off David McCoy for the victory. Andrew Cole finished third, followed by Drew Benfield in fourth and Will Beard in fifth.

Mitchell Godfrey topped the Hobby 602 field, as he beat out Austin Kimsey for the win. Shane Yarbrough crossed the finish line in third, with Darryl Mattheson in fourth and Ty Anglin in fifth.

Clifton Snow scored the win in the Modified Street feature. Keith Baker finished second, with Rusty Jordan third, Louis Tetreault fourth and Brian Hardman in fifth.

Keith Teasly was the winner in the Stock 8 feature, with James Gant following in second, Billy Gilbert in third, Terry Brown in fourth and Holly Bales in fifth.

Kevin Kelly took the victory in the Stock 4 feature, with Kenny Dobbs, Blake Bentley, J.J. Garrett and Brandon Elliott rounded out the top five.

In the Rookie 4 feature, Matthew Fugerson held off Chance Segars for the win. Blake Hardman finished third, with Grand Roberts in fourth and Nathan Bowen in fifth.

Jackie Holden again was the man to beat in the Front Wheel Drive feature, as he took home top honors, with Aaron Limbaugh in second, Justin Hicks in third, Daniel Reynolds in fourth and Kalen Holms in fifth.
