Inclement weather has forced postponement of Friday night’s 2015 season opener at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, SC.

Rain showers, increased winds and lower temperatures are forecasted for Friday, and those combined do not make for great racing weather. Track management made the call early in an effort to head off the teams who travel to Anderson from North Carolina and Georgia in order to compete.

Anderson Motor Speedway will be racing next weekend, but switching gears to Saturday, March 21, featuring the Peach Blossom Special 125 with the return of the PASS South Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, USAC Midgets and US Legends competition.
